Our standard RibCore achieves 42% glue adhesion between the core and the door skin while cheaper traditional honey comb paper core used by most other manufacturers has only 4% glued contact between door skin and core. Add together the additional strength obtained using thicker and wider timber and the fact that RibCore has more than 10 times glued adhesion between skin and core and you have one very superior door. What this means is simple, a strong door that can easily absorb what life throws at it without popping, bending or bowing. That’s what makes a superior door, superior.

| The typical Superior Doors door is constructed with impact resistant RibCore, a set of rails and stiles, a lock block and 2 skins. To ensure that all doors are of the highest quality each individual pine rail is sighted and graded for straightness and strength. The RibCore is machined precisely to size to gain the greatest strength from its glued contact with the skin to ensure the flattest door possible. |

As an alternative to a standard solid core door, Superior Doors Ltd provides the option of the Premium EPS core. This is a high grade polyfoam core that enhances thermal and acoustic retention abilities as well as providing greater impact resistance. The EPS core does all this while being cost effective, easier to handle and much lighter than traditional solid core doors. |
